Resumo.
This text aims to present Cri-Du-Chat Syndrome or Cat’s Meow, as is commonly known, in relation to medical and educational aspects involved in the development of people who have this condition, as well as from one case study conducted in a public school of Vila Velha – Espírito Santo, reflect on how it has been done the process of teaching and learning with students who have this syndrome. The present study is structured in three parts. The first part evokes medical and biological issues relevant to the syndrome. The second shows the relevance of inclusive education process from a socio-historical perspective. At the end, brings aspects of the case study conducted.
