Abstract. This experimental work was an evaluation of the using effects of micro-corrents in third degree burning in Wistarrats. The sampling was compound of 100 animals which were divided in two groups, the first constitutedof 50 animals that after wounded received an electrical stimulation in a total of fifteen sections. The secondgroup was also constituted of 50 rats that after a wound induction remained without electrical stimulation. To the stimulation was to use the electrical corrente five times a week fifteen min each section, bipolar form, of 80microamperes. The results were evaluated by histological qualitative and pachymetry technique. According to theresults it was observed that the group of animals with micro-corrents stimulation presented the best healing of thewonds.
