Resumo. The article aims to present a sketch on the methodological developments of the black media research that analyzes the process of sociopolitical production of digital activism through the use of the Whatsapp application by the group Black Youth Kalunga. Observing how the appropriation of the content produced, through militancy, through the use of new technologies, develops as a tool of articulation and mobilization of this group. Through ethnography, the research will look at the use of an application by the group, understanding the social interactions, the possibilities that this new technological device offers the members and describe how the socio-political relations can provide the production of black activism.
