Resumo. On this paper, we present the folkcommunication process within the Saint John Festivities in Oporto City. This collective celebration happens in the North of Portugal on June in honor to Saint John, the Baptist. Hence, we ask: what and how are the Folk-communication process’ aspects within the Saint John Festivities in Oporto City? With the task to map, in a symbolic perspective, these processes, we address our methodology in Sociocultural Photocartography. We could observe that folkcomunication registered is huge. They are within the face to faceand in a group communication and also inside the public and private communication strategies.
