Resumo. The aim of this study was a monitoring of lagoons and ponds with wastewater into disuse, in two distinct subtropical regions of the State of Santa Catarina with growth of macrophytes acting in debugging. The deactivation of lagoons and ponds is an alternative found by the producers to attend the law by the Terms of Adjustment of Conduct (TACs) and changing the production of the properties. These lagoons are turned into fertilizer tanks, rainwater reservoir for watering animals and irrigation. The macrophytes in the debugging process settle and start a process for bioremediation and biomass production. The environmental monitoring showed a decay P-PO4 and Ntotal in 4 units monitored in winter and an increase in concentration in the summer months. The midden 2 presents a weekly management and thus has a greater homogeneity of variation of nutrients and consequently lower levels. The plant species that are found is Lemna minuta Kunth and the work showed the degree of cover / abundance of this macrophytes. We concluded that monitoring is essential to know the process of bioremediation, however there was no comparison among the units.
